Microbrewmaps.com Is Here!!!!

Funny story, my brother and I were visiting my parents in Portland, Oregon. My parents have lived in Portland for quite some time, I haven’t. My father, Bill Metzker (Terradigm Realty), knows the city pretty well, as he is a realty broker there, and a damn good one at that. Quite probably the best.

Anyhow, lunch rolled around and between my 3 year old nephew Ender (beautiful little thing), Sister Sarah , Brother Ben , Mother Phyllis, and Myself (Jeremy, aka The Honey Badger) there was a lot of low blood sugar going around. Which means capital “C” Cranky. Anger. Despair even. Altogether not a good a place to be, as one could imagine. We needed food, and more importantly, BEER. Stat.

So, we consulted the Google machine – who wouldn’t right? (Unless you’re a Yahoo or Bing fan…Sorry.) This is where things broke down, Hindenburg style. We couldn’t find a Brewpub in our proximity. We knew they were there, they just wouldn’t show up in any Engine - literally we were blocks away, and no luck.

That’s when it hit us. Why isn’t there a searchable index for Beer? I’ve been in cities across the country, on business, pleasure or whatever, and just wanted a specific beer. I settled for less, and ended up at the first establishment I came across.
NO MORE!!! Microbrewmaps.com is here!

Google is great. Trust me, they inadvertently pay my bills. Life would not be the same without them, but they have become so Ad centered, and their results so washed down, that it’s hard to find what it is you’re looking for. This is what we’re attempting to overcome. We’re offering a hyper-localized search function for Microbrew. Want Deschutes in the 80020 area code? We’ll show you where. Avery in the 80210? Done. Vacationing in Hawaii? We’ll get you what you want, where you want it, and a proper review to go with it.

Our reviews are entirely user-based, people like you, giving you the honest goods. No B.S., because the Honey Badger don’t give a sh*t. If the beer/establishment bites, we’ll be the first to let you know.

So keep checking back. This blog, and our site, is meant to be based on user interaction, and is entirely open to constructive criticism. If you like us, then let’s chat. If you hate us, go f*ck yourself, but we’ll chat anyway :)

So here's the deal. We are an open forum. We are a distributor of apparel, neon signs and anything beer related. Own an establishment that sells beer? Look no further, we'll get it done for you on every level imaginable. No Joke.

Craft beer. Online. All the Time. It's what we do!

Thanks, and we look forward helping you out!
